Social Development

The Stellat’en Social Development Program shall be responsible for:

1. The effective and efficient management and administration of the NNADA Program.
2. The effective and efficient management and administration of the Community Health Program.
3. The effective and efficient management and administration of the Stellat’en Family Care Program
4. The effective and efficient management of the Social Assistance Program.
5. The effective and efficient human resource management of Stellat’en Social Development Department Staff by supervising Family Care Worker, Adult in Home Care workers, and participate in the recruitment of various qualified social development workers when there is staff turn over, or as the Social Development expands.
6. Performs other related duties as directed by the Stellat’en Office Administrator, Social Development Committee and Social Development Portfolio Councilor.

1. Set up and implement Social Development Active Measures.
2. Do year end client file review.
3. Do five Year Program forecast.

Future Projects and Programs

1. Do history of Stellat’en via photo journal.
2. Recreate Stellat’en village circa pre European arrival.
3. Carve and erect a totem pole.
